Cookie Policy
Last updated: August 31, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Horecas ("we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit horecas.io, our dashboard, guest-facing venue pages, and related applications. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. Overview
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you use a website or app. We use cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage and session storage) to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the platform, and understand how our services are used.
3. Types of Cookies We Use
Strictly necessary: required for authentication, security, load balancing, and core features such as placing orders or managing a Venue Account. The platform may not work correctly if you disable these.
Functional: remember choices such as branch selection, cart contents, dining options, or UI preferences so you do not have to re-enter them.
Analytics: help us understand traffic patterns, feature usage, and errors so we can improve performance and usability. Where used, analytics data is aggregated and not used to identify you directly for marketing.
Support & communication: enable live chat and customer-support widgets so we can respond to inquiries.
4. Third-Party Cookies
Partners that may set cookies when you use Horecas include:
- Stripe — payment processing and fraud prevention during checkout and subscription billing.
- Google — optional "Continue with Google" sign-in on guest pages.
- Tawk.to — live chat support on our marketing site.
- Meta / WhatsApp — when venues use WhatsApp messaging features integrated with the platform.
Each provider's use of cookies is governed by its own policy. We encourage you to review those policies for more detail.
5. Your Choices
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent sign-in, checkout, or other core functionality. You can also clear local storage from your browser if you want to reset saved preferences or cart data.
To opt out of marketing messages, use the unsubscribe link in an email or reply STOP to WhatsApp campaigns, as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no industry standard for how sites must respond; we do not currently alter our practices based solely on DNT signals.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes may also be communicated through the platform or to Venue Account holders where appropriate.
8. Contact Us
If you have questions about our use of cookies, contact us at support@horecas.io. For broader privacy questions, see our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
